As part of Fairfield United's Ministry, we support our community in various ways. We support the United Church Mission and Service Fund. We donate to causes that are important to us. We provide donated goods to Our Place and other projects like Project Connect and the Greater Victoria Coalition to End Homelessness. Below are our current requests.
Mission and Service Fund
Monetary donations can be made to the Mission and Service Fund of the United Church by church offering envelopes or special envelopes in the pews. Donations can also be made online at United Church Mission and Service Fund.
Donations
We are always happy to accept donations to support local causes. Items can be brought to church each Sunday and placed in the baskets when you arrive. Some of the best items to donate are non-perishable food, new or gently used clothing, and gift certificates.
We have just completed our Angel Gift program for the year where we buy new coats for those without a home. Thank you Angels.
Volunteers Needed
We would love to have you volunteer at Fairfield to assist with church needs, a church project or with one of the organizations we support. Please feel free to email outreach@fairfieldunited.ca or churchoffice@fairfielduntied.ca for more information. Our most current needs are:
Fairfield United Choir
The Fairfield United Choir always welcomes new voices. Anyone interested in joining the choir is welcome to contact Victoria Beauchesne through the church office.
Lending Library
Our Lending Library downstairs, by the comfy couches, has books of interest and welcomes new additions. If you have any books you wish to share, please bring them the church office, clearly marked Lending Library.
