Fairfield United has an active youth ministry, with four age groups. The Nursery is for those up to Kindergarten age, where little ones can enjoy playing and snacks with a caregiver. Parents are welcome to remain with their young ones, or return to worship. In the Sunday School, there are two age groups, Kindergarten to Grade 2 and Grades 3 to 5. Each week, bible based stories, songs and crafts are taught by talented and creative teenagers. For youth Grades 6 and up, there is a Youth Group, with Sunday morning activities and monthly evening activities.
These young people have also contributed to the spiritual life of Fairfield by participating in many activities to support the church, including fundraising for local and international causes, providing music during worship, helping with communion and greeting, Scripture readings, volunteering at rummage and craft sales, and other activities they have taken on with their own initiative. Young people are welcomed at Fairfield!
